K7s: Baltrex, Mazowieckie i Pomorskie leads after first day

First day of Krakow Sevens was a bit rainy but same time very interesting, with many tense games, fantastic runs & scores, breaking the line and try-saving tackles. Baltrex from Lithuania won rivalry in both groups in U19 category, Mazowieckie leads the way in U16 while Pomorskie in unbeatable in U14.

Torunament started at 10:00 am and despite of the rain all the games were played on time and luckily without any serious injuries. We started with U14 games where Pomorskie shortly showed the power of their two teams. In U16 category there was more to fight for and Mazowieckie came in to the tournament with really strong, consistent team playing beautiful, fluent rugby in every game.

In U19 category two Balltrex teams from Lithuania has topped their groups, with hosts – Juvenia Krakow, played really well against Baltrex and loosing with one try difference at the end.

The final day is expected to by much more dry and same time much more interesting with kock-out stage in each category!
