Some of us have played in the different team around the World – in Ireland, Engand, France, Belgium, USA. Some of us experienced last two World Cups from a very close perspective as accredited journalists. We have been part of such a big events like Dubai Sevens. And after meeting all this fantastic people and seeing all this marvelous tournaments, we have decided to organize our own tournament. In our home City of Krakow. In our opinion, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.
Our club – Juvenia Krakow has been founded 113 years ago. We play rugby for 45 years. Maybe not a lot in comparison do clubs in British Islands but enough to grow the true rugby spirit around our club. Like everywhere in the world, we are a bunch od friends, huge family that gathers not only during the Saturday’s games. We are creating our club and everything around it together. Because we love it.
We have decided to invite U19 teams because there is not a lot of tournaments for this age category in Europe, while those boys and girls are the future of rugby. Really close future. Especially in Olympic rugby sevens! We want to give the opportunity to develop and check themselves out in rivalry with them peers form all around the World.
