With are glad to confirm that despite the difficult situation related to the pandemic, this year’s Krakow Sevens tournament will take place as planned. On Friday, September 4th we will welcome teams in Krakow, and on Saturday and Sunday we will compete for the Cup of the Mayor of the City of Krakow for the second time! This time in three categories!
After a difficult period of uncertainty during lockdown, we are slowly trying to return to normal life. Sport is coming back to stadiums, fans are beginning to appear in the stands, borders within the European Union are open, and quarantine for people coming to Poland is no longer necessary. Therefore, nothing stands in the way to announce that the next edition of Krakow Sevens will take place and we hope for another fantastic, international meeting in Krakow.
We start on September 4th, when we will welcome and accommodate all teams in Krakow. It will be possible to have a training on our pitch, and in the evening we will meet staff members during the welcome banquet at the Pino Garden Restaurant.
On Saturday, September 5th, the matches on Juvenia Kraków and Nowa Huta Rugby Klub will start from the very morning. Girls will compete in the U19 category while Boys are going to play in the U19 and U16 categories. After all-day of rugby, all teams will meet on the main pitch for berbecue and live concert.
On Sunday, September 6th, we will finish the pool stage and hold finals in all categories. Then you can count on even more pleasure: medals and cups ceremonies, individual awards and gifts from our sponsors.
We will do our best to make it unforgettable three days of rugby in Krakow.
